Dearly Loved

This past weekend I was at a Beth Moore Simulcast. The topic was insecurity. Yes insecurity. I am insecure typing insecurity.

The one thing among several things that God showed me through his servant Beth was Kristina, you are dearly loved by the God of the universe. Yes I know as a christian this should not be a hard concept to grasp but honestly I am not that smart and like David Wike said Sunday morning sometimes you have to get back to the basics.

I am dearly loved by the God of the Universe.

You are dearly loved by the God of the Universe.

The question Beth presented was what would you life look like if you lived knowing you were dearly loved by God?

First off I have to be reminded daily I am dearly loved by Him because one I am not good I remembering that and two I know me I don't deserve that love. But isn't that what makes it special? I am dearly loved by God who knows my faults, who knows my deepest thoughts, who knows I don't deserve the love He offers but wants to give it to me...a concept that continues to blow my mind.

But although this dearly loved concept blows my mind I am going to try and live like a dearly loved child of God. I had to put dearly loved on the background on my phone so I could be reminded daily that I am loved by God. Of course I love God but he also loves me! So amazing.

Jimmy Needham has a song called dearly love which I will leave you with. I love this song and would love to sing it to the whole world if I sang in front of people. You can come ride in my car with me and I will bust it out.

It is worth it!!! A life with Christ is worth EVERYTHING!!
