So I sure have not been keeping up with the whole blog thing....epic fail.
It's been a crazy month...Christmas was great...New Years pretty good (OSU brought out a Rose Ball win) and Winter Retreat...pretty awesome....scratch that...REALLY AWESOME!! God really showed me how the Holy Spirit works during that trip. I continued to learn that when God tells you to do something OBEY him and stop making excuses.
Back to the Holy Spirit (or The Forgotten God as Francis Chan would call it) I have been so busy like literally I get home late, put my PJs on and then off to bed to do it all over again. But last night even though I got home late again, I started reading Forgotten God by Francis Chan and man am I glad I did. I have always been intrigued by the Holy Spirit and the Trinity....after reading the Shack my interest sparked even more! Chan has devoted an entire book about the Holy Spirit...the one God head that we forget about the most but is the one who is with us the most if we call ourselves Christians....think about that....digest it and then go and seek really what the Holy Spirit is in your life.
I have only made it through Chapter 1 but we are discussing it in Sunday School and I must say I am pretty pumped to talk about what I have already learned!
